First you should take a flight Delhi International Airport. The closest and most convenient airport for you is to fly to Dehraun Aiport. If you are visiting India for the first time then it is better for you to take a flight to Dehradun (city nearby), and from Dehradun is a 30 min drive, so you save a hustle.
The best and most convenient way to travel to Rishikesh is to take a flight from Delhi airport to Dehradun airport as it’s less expensive than taxi fees and time-saving. Dehradun airport is merely 15 km from school, as soon as you book your flight, forward us your flight details and we will send our driver to receive you from Dehradun airport. Otherwsise if you need a pickup from Delhi airport to Rishikesh, we will also arrange that with an additional cost of 80 USD.
Yes, it is very much safe to travel alone to Rishikesh, many tourists do it. It might be a difficult task to travel by local buses or trains sometimes if you are never been to India before, as it's very different from other parts of the world.
Yes, with advanced notice we will arrange transportation for you to Rishikesh directly from the airport, bus or train station. Upon arriving in Rishikesh we will help you with directions for walking a short distance to our school.
